Le Coursier d’Hôpital is an association of volunteers who encourage people with disabilities, pregnant women and children in Togo to come to the hospital for treatment. They have developed a smartphone application called ‘’DokitaEyes App”, which provides a digital health record for the people.
The Association also facilitates the medical process for everyone who wishes to receive treatment at the hospital and requests assistance.
This initiative has already impacted more than 35,000 people in Lomé, including the rural areas. Their next step is the promotion and translation of the application into English for other neighbouring countries access. This initiative addresses SDG 3.
